The Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre, a not for profit organisation, invites all artists to enter our 5th annual Art Prize.
As the first art centre in the Blue Mountains it has always been our mission to foster the arts in our community providing classes, workshops, groups and exhibitions. It’s now time for us to reward creativity!
The Blue Mountains Art Prize is all inclusive and all works will be hung at the discretion of the conveners.
Important dates: Closing date has been extended to September 17.
Entries Open: July 10, 2023
Entries Close: September 15, 2023
Delivery: Sunday 17th September, 10am till 2pm.
Pick Up: Sunday 24th September, 4pm - 5pm
Opening night and awards: FRIDAY 22nd Sept. 6:30 pm
Exhibition Open:
- Friday 22nd September - 6.30pm - 8.30pm
- Saturday 23rd 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Sunday 24th 10:00am - 4:00pm
Sizes below are the MAXIMUM whether the works are framed or unframed. (Works on paper must be foam core backed)
- 2D: 32cm x 32cm (12”x12”)
- 3D: 32cm x 32cm x 32cm (12”x12”x12”)
All works will be displayed.
NB: The BMCAC Committee reserves the right to refuse unsuitable work at its discretion.
Works sold will be subject to a commission of 25%.
