The workshop involves producing a painting – or two – from start to finish using images gleaned from digital images of our wonderful Blue Mountains. The theme is traditional Australian landscape styled, with an emphasis on sky and escarpments.
It is a relaxed workshop that using the oil based mediums. Each participant/student is taken through the various stages of producing a landscape painting. This involves canvas preparation, composition and perspective principles as well as the many techniques of application.
The expected outcome will form the foundation for the student to produce further works and develop their own style and techniques.
This class is suited for beginners to intermediate level students.
